Arrival in Leh (3500m)
Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy a hot breakfast. Spend the rest of the day resting to allow your body to acclimatize to the high altitude. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Local Sightseeing in Leh
After breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour with our guide. Visit the serene Shanti Stupa, the historic Leh Palace, and the bustling Leh Market. Spend the afternoon exploring the vibrant market or relaxing. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
Leh to Takmachick (Sham Valley Sightseeing)
Today, travel from Leh (3500m) to Takmachick (3300m), enjoying the scenic Sham Valley along the way. Visit the Army Museum/Hall of Fame, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers), Alchi Monastery, and finally, Takmachick. At Takmachick, explore the organic agricultural practices and witness a variety of colorful fruits and flowers. Interact with the local people, enjoy local food, butter tea, barley wine, and listen to traditional songs. Overnight stay at a homestay in Takmachick.
Aryan Valley Excursion
From Takmachick (3300m), head to the Aryan Valley, visiting Dha and Bema (3250m). Enjoy the apricot blossoms and experience the unique culture and language of the Aryan people, known for being the highest fruit production valley in Ladakh. In the evening, return to Takmachick for an overnight stay at the homestay.
